Mystique

Hello... I'm Mystique, intriguing, a little magical, impossible to ignore.

I'm a four-month-old tortoiseshell girl wearing a coat that looks like it was painted by moonlight and fire. Swirls of amber, midnight, and smoke blend together in a way that makes people stop and stare. I don't blame them. Tortoiseshells have a reputation for being unforgettable - and I fully intend to live up to it.

I arrived as a stray, no ID, no one coming to claim me. Just me and my mystery. A little like a certain blue, shape-shifting icon, I slipped into the scene quietly, no past attached, no one quite knowing where I came from. But if there's one thing about a girl named Mystique, it's that she's resilient. Adaptable. Always landing on her feet. Now I'm ready to choose my own destiny, preferably one involving a warm home, a soft bed, and someone who appreciates a little enchantment in their life.

At four months old, I'm in my prime kitten era. I move like a shadow when I want to, silent and observant, then suddenly I'm everywhere at once, leaping, climbing, appearing in places you didn't see me reach. I can perch up high and watch the world like I'm calculating my next move, or dart across the room in a flash of tortie brilliance. Shapeshifting might be a stretch... but I can absolutely transform from fierce hunter to purring cuddlebug in seconds.

I may have started as the mysterious stray no one claimed, but every great character deserves the right origin story and I think mine is about to begin...
