About Chip
Chip is a gentle, reserved young kitten who is still learning that people and home comforts can be safe. She tends to shy away at first and will often choose a hiding spot when things feel unfamiliar, but a creamy treat is the quickest way to earn an introduction. Spend a little time with her and bring out a toy, and you’ll see a different side - curious, playful, and eager to engage, just with a careful approach. Chip will play and explore, but she likes to take things slowly and think it through first.
Chip would be best suited to someone patient who has owned shy, timid cats before, and a calm and quiet home as she is sensitive to loud noises & big movements. Older children, or kids who understand how to give her space and let trust build naturally are ideal.
Chip should be strictly indoors. Reason for this is due to her timidity. Going outside may undo all the progress Chip has made since coming into our care. The outside world is big & can be very scary for a small kitten.
Just like all kittens, Chip would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. She should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that she grow up big and strong.
Chip is already litter trained, but it’s best to show her where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents. If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow introduction.
