Meet Barney 💛
Barney is a handsome, sensitive boy who is searching for a calm and understanding home where he can truly relax and be himself. He may take a little time to settle in, but once he gets to know you, he is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, with so much love to give.
Barney would thrive with experienced cat owners who understand feline body language and will respect his boundaries. He is best suited to a quiet home with adults or sensible teenagers who will give him the space he needs to build trust at his own pace.
He would prefer to be an indoor-only cat, where he feels safe and secure. Barney also needs to be the only animal in the home - he's quite clear that he'd like all your love and attention to himself! In the right environment, he will form a wonderful bond and become a loyal, devoted companion.
If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and room for one very special boy, Barney could be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
