About Simba
Simba is a male Domestic Short Hair kitten available for adoption in Chipping Norton, South Western Sydney, New South Wales
Calm, indoor-suited and wonderfully people-focused, Simba is the definition of a lovebug. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who truly wants you back, he may be exactly who you’ve been searching for.
He doesn’t just enjoy affection — he actively seeks it. Simba believes laps exist for sitting on and hands exist for patting him.
A little about Simba:
🐾 Devoted lap companion
🐾 Indoor & apartment suited
🐾 Thrives in calm households
🐾 Gets along beautifully with other cats
🐾 Serious fan of wet treats
With familiar people, Simba is pure love overload. He settles into laps with complete confidence, purring contentedly and gazing up as if you’re the most important person in the room. If you happen to be on your phone, he may gently reach out a paw to remind you where your attention belongs.
Around new people, he’s just as welcoming. He willingly engages, soaks up pats and adjusts quickly. His easygoing nature makes him a very reassuring presence in the home.
With other cats, Simba gets along wonderfully. He’s social and relaxed, happy to share space — though he will absolutely compete for prime cuddle positions. He isn’t bonded to another cat but would comfortably live with feline companions.
His days are beautifully simple: lounging, observing, requesting affection, enjoying wet treats and returning promptly to a lap whenever one becomes available. He’s calm, gentle and low-maintenance — provided his emotional needs are met.
If you’re home more often than not and genuinely enjoy a cat who wants to be involved in your day, you may already see how well he would fit.
Simba would flourish with a guardian who has the time and warmth to match his affectionate nature. In return, he offers constant companionship, steady purrs and the kind of closeness that makes a house feel truly lived in.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
