About Summer
Social, indoor-suited and wonderfully confident, Summer is the kind of kitten who makes herself at home wherever she goes. She’s brave, outgoing and genuinely enjoys being part of the action.
If something is happening in the house, she wants to know about it.
A little about Summer:
🐾 Loves people and feline friends
🐾 Suits indoor & apartment living
🐾 Thrives in active households
🐾 Confident with new people
🐾 Highly food motivated (wet treats win hearts)
Summer is one of the bravest foster kittens around. With familiar people, she’s affectionate, playful and beautifully interactive. She rubs around your legs while you’re working, hops into your lap and circles determinedly until she finds the exact right spot to settle. Her loud purr and gently wrapped tail are hard to resist.
With new people, she’s just as welcoming. She willingly engages and forms quick friendships, though she prefers to snuggle once she feels fully comfortable. That balance makes her both socially confident and emotionally aware.
With other cats, Summer thrives. She loves to chase and be chased, happily plays with kittens and adult cats alike, and then just as easily curls up alone or beside a friend for a sun-drenched nap. She isn’t bonded to a specific cat and would thrive either as a solo companion or with a friendly feline playmate.
Her days are full of movement — rattly mini balls skittering across the floor, enthusiastic zoomies and curious investigations. She’s a little busy-body in the sweetest way, always keen to be involved. When she’s not playing, she’s stretched out in a sunny window, recharging for the next adventure.
If you enjoy a confident, affectionate kitten who wants to interact and be part of your everyday rhythm, Summer may feel like a natural fit.
In a loving home that welcomes her energy and offers regular interaction, Summer will bring brightness, companionship and that unmistakable “I’m right here with you” presence.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
