About Narla
Hi, I’m Narla,
I’m just over one year old, full of heart, and rocking that classic Aquarius vibe — Super Loyal!
I’m a medium-sized gal (under 30kg).
I absolutely love other dogs. In fact, I’ve got big sister energy written all over me. I adore the puppies at HQ and take my role as resident role model very seriously. If there’s a little one around, I’m watching over them like, “It’s okay kid, I’ve got you.”
I’m also good with cats and children — gentle, affectionate, and happy to be part of the family action!
Now the bad bit...
I was rescued from a rural NSW pound after leaving the only home I had ever known.
The pound environment was loud, stressful, and overwhelming. So many scared dogs barking… it was a lot for a sensitive girl like me and I shut down. Then when I finally found a ranger I liked in a moment of panic, I tried to escape to get to her and got both my paws caught under a metal fence. The injury resulted in cutting off a whole toe bone and all.
But here’s the thing about me — I survived it. I adapted & I kept loving.I don’t see myself as broken. I see myself as resilient.
Because of my beginning, I do have understandably mild separation anxiety. I bond deeply with my people and feel safest when I’m not left alone for long stretches. I’d be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time — maybe part-time work, work-from-home, or a family with staggered schedules.
If you want a loyal & gentle shadow , a brave little warrior wrapped in a beautiful brindle coat… I’m your girl.
Love,
Narla 🤎🐾

Ready to Adopt?
Interested in one of our dogs?
Please submit a Bull Arab Rescue Adoption Application to register your interest.
• After applying, please allow around 48 hours for a response (we’re a small volunteer admin team)
• Applications are reviewed before any meets are arranged.
Meet & Adoption Process
• Local applicants: meet-and-greets are booked in advance
• Interstate applicants: transport quotes must be obtained prior to proceeding
• We do not offer on-the-spot adoptions — our team needs time to ensure the right match for the dog and the family
Once your application is approved and all required information has been provided, we will organise a meet-and-greet, pending logistics and suitability.
Before Applying, Please Consider:
• The dog’s breed-specific needs, including diet (e.g. large vs medium breed requirements)
• Research into the breed to ensure it suits your lifestyle and experience level
• Child safety and size compatibility
• Real estate approval (if renting)
Taking the time to prepare properly helps set both you and our dogs up for a successful, lifelong match.
