Lily

In a few short days Lily has come leaps and bounds - quite literally! Lily girl is full of beans and is ALWAYS on the go! Lily spends most of her days runnings laps in the backyard playing with toys, and taking short rest breaks in the shade, before she is off again chasing a ball or chasing her foster sister.

Lily has learnt how to sit and give you paw (both paws ), knows to sit and wait for her meals and wait for her turn when there are treats. Lily craves love and affection, which means sometimes she can be a little pushy however she is slowly learning that there is plenty of love to go around. Lily will need someone to continue working on making her feel safe and loved.

Lily gets along well with her foster sister , however can be a little bossy but she is learning her manners. Lily shares toys, the water bowl and does not appear to be food aggressive. Walking on a lead is a ‘work in progress’ however Lily is improving. She sticks like Velcro to her foster dad’s leg and gives little woofs to anything unfamiliar.

Lily will just need someone to keep working on this with her until she gains her confidence. The only time Lily seems to be drained of her batteries is when she is in her crate. Lily loves her crate for some down time and will go straight in there at bed time - you won’t hear a peep out of her until you are ready to let her out in the morning.
