About Solstice
Solstice is a gentle, timid girl who will need a calm and patient home to help her feel safe as she adjusts to her new environment. She should be started in a small, secure area of the home where escape routes and hard‑to‑reach spaces are blocked off, giving her time to settle before gradually exploring the rest of the house. Large, open spaces can be overwhelming for her, so slow introductions to new areas will help her confidence grow. Solstice will benefit from having plenty of safe options available, such as scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard box hides, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers. Providing both high and low hiding spots throughout the home will help her feel secure as she becomes more comfortable.
She is best suited to an adopter who is patient, understanding, and able to recognise that Solstice will be timid in a new environment. With time and gentle encouragement, she will begin to relax and show her true personality. A home with teens who can read basic cat body language and know when to give her space is recommended. Solstice has not been fully tested with other cats, so her cat social behaviour remains unconfirmed, but given the right introductions, she may adapt well.
