About Nola
Meet Nola – 8 Years Young & Full of Gentle Charm.
Nola is a peaceful, beautiful-natured girl who brings a calm, comforting presence to any home. She enjoys pats, curling up nearby, sunny naps and a playful session with her toys.
She’s a lovely mix of affectionate and independent, a low-maintenance companion who values her own space. Nola loves cuddles, but she prefers to initiate them. When she chooses you in a quiet, one-on-one moment, she’ll happily settle in for a long, contented snuggle.
Nola was much loved in her previous home, but sadly her owner’s ageing mother recently moved in and is very frightened of cats. On top of that there were a few safety concerns after some near trips underfoot so the heartbreaking decision was made to find Nola a new home where everyone could feel secure.
She has lived happily with a calm dog (energetic dogs aren’t her style) and slow introductions would be important with other cats as she has never been around them.
If you’re looking for a calm, independent, low-maintenance companion who offers affection and will fill your home with gentle, peaceful energy, Nola may be your perfect match.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
