About Athena
*In foster care in Bronte, Sydney*
Confident and curious Athena is the best of all worlds - playful and funny, smoochy and affectionate! Having grown up with her sister Lily and other friendly cats in her foster home, she adores other cats too :)
Athena is likely to be very happy in most types of cat-loving homes, and may enjoy the company of gentle children. She's eager to meet you and see if it's a match!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Athena is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a no-frills kind of girl! As long as my new home has heaps of toys to play with, nice food to eat and kind humans to love me, I'll feel like the luckiest cat in the world. Bonus points if you have a cat friend for me too!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: During the day I'm pretty active, spending hours chasing my toys around and wrestling with my sister. Evenings are much more relaxed! I especially enjoy cuddling up with my foster carers while they read or watch TV.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've not met any kids yet, but I'm open to giving it a try?
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great for cats! I would love to have a cat friend in my forever home. My sister Lily and feline foster sister Jolene are terrific company :)
Dogs are a mystery to me at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
