Katniss and Berlioz

Katniss and Berlioz are perfectly opposite: light and shadow, calm and chaos. Together, these gorgeous soulmates are wonderfully balanced, and bring endless fun and laughter to their foster home!

A bundle of silver tabby queen energy, Katniss is gentle, observant and emotionally intelligent. When she wants affection, she’ll let you know with the sweetest little cry, and lead you to the closest cuddle point :) Serene but never boring, she’ll play, chase and zoom, then gracefully step aside to supervise the mayhem like a wise forest guardian!

Berlioz is the sleekest cutie patootie, with a suave midnight coat and a personality that enters the room before he does! The second you wake up, he’s already sprinting toward you to flop dramatically onto your chest, purring up a storm. Bold and playful, and mischievous in the best way, he's a tiny havoc maker with a heart of absolute gold :)

Like all Maggie’s pets, Katniss and Berlioz are microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

IDEAL HOME: One where cuddles are abundant and beds are shared! They’d thrive in a household that:
• Wants affectionate, people-oriented cats
• Enjoys playtime (Berlioz will make sure of it!)
• ... but also appreciates a calm, thoughtful little companion (Katniss has that covered)

ENERGY LEVEL: Medium overall (curious-but-composed Katniss on the lower end, zoomy Berlioz on the higher) - but perfectly balanced. Their distinct personalities are never clearer than first thing in the morning, when Berlioz runs like his life depends on it to lie on his foster human's chest and start purring the second he notices she's awake! Or if he’s too tired to run, he’ll stretch first, yawn and catwalk to his position. Then Katniss will decide she wants some love too and settle herself near her human's shoulder for some head kisses :)

SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Respectful children who understand gentle handling should be a good match. Katniss would likely bond beautifully with a calm child who enjoys quiet companionship, while Berlioz would happily engage in play sessions (and probably invent new games).

SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Because they already adore each other, they would:
• Do wonderfully living just the two of them
• Adapt easily to other friendly cats
• Likely adjust to a calm, cat-savvy dog with proper introductions.
