About Buffy
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
Buffy is a sweet and gentle girl who adores people. She can be a little timid with strangers at first, but she warms up quickly, and once she’s comfortable she is incredibly sweet and always happy to receive pats anywhere, anytime. Buffy is very affectionate and thrives on human connection, making her a loving and loyal presence in the home.
She is best suited to indoor living and is used to this environment in her foster home. Buffy is comfortable spending time in her own crate and would suit a full-time worker who can provide a safe and cozy setup while they’re away. She settles well at home and enjoys being close to her people.
Buffy isn’t overly interested in toys, but she does love the occasional burst of zoomies around the house. She can be a fussy eater and knows her name, responding well when called. Her happiness really comes from being around people rather than playthings.
When out on walks, Buffy is curious but can be hesitant, especially when unfamiliar people approach her. Loud noises can startle her, and she may prefer not to be patted while she’s out. A calm, patient handler will help her build confidence, and in return, Buffy offers endless affection and a gentle, loving nature.
