About Mars
Mars is a beautiful, sweet-natured little boy with the softest heart and so much love to give. While most kittens are tiny tornadoes, Mars is a gentle soul who brings a calm, peaceful energy wherever he goes.
He loves mucking around with his kitten friends and can often be found zooming up and down his cat tower or batting at toys. He enjoys his playtime, but he’s just as happy taking a moment to observe the world around him from a cosy perch.
Mars is still a little shy with new people. He may take a short while to feel safe and confident in a new home, but once he warms up, you'll see his affectionate and loving nature shine through. With patience, reassurance and plenty of gentle encouragement, he will blossom beautifully.
Mars is looking for a home with a friendly resident cat for companionship as he thrives with being best friends with other cats & gets along with them wonderfully.
If you’re looking for a kind, calm kitten who will reward your love with loyalty and sweetness, Mars may just be your perfect little star.
Medical notes
Mars has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). It’s a manageable lifelong condition that affects the bladder and can make peeing uncomfortable during flare-ups. Most cats with FLUTD live completely normal lives with simple management such as a specialised urinary diet, access to plenty of fresh water, and a calm/stress-free home.
Adopters will just need to keep an eye on his litter tray habits and seek vet care if he ever seems to strain or can’t pass urine. He’s otherwise healthy, happy and able to live a full, normal life with the right care.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
