About Max
Meet Max!
Max is a lovely older gentleman who still has plenty of pep in his step and a real zest for life. Despite a scattered start, this sweet boy is ready to begin his next chapter and discover all the wonderful things life has to offer. He can be a bit unsure at first, but with patience and a calm approach, he quickly warms up and then absolutely loves his people, especially when it comes to pats, attention, and being right in the heart of the action. Max will thrive as the solo dog in a calm, dog savvy teen/adult home with a secure backyard where he can enjoy his days at his own pace. A gentle environment and predictable routine will help him feel safe and confident as he settles into family life. This clever senior already knows cues like sit and drop, and he still enjoys learning and engaging with his humans. True to his smart nature, Max will adore plenty of enrichment and ongoing training to keep both his mind and body active. Activities like puzzle toys, sniffy walks, gentle training games, and interactive play will help him stay happy and fulfilled - because old dogs absolutely can learn new tricks!
If you're ready to give a deserving senior a fresh start, come meet Max today and discover just how special a seasoned best friend can be!
