Meet Carlton – the ginger tornado you didn’t know you needed. 🧡
Carlton is pure, unfiltered classic ginger cat energy. He is a big foodie (treats are the way to his heart), a toy enthusiast, and a full-time menace to society in the most entertaining way possible. If there’s chaos to be created, Carlton will proudly take responsibility.
He absolutely loves other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident feline friend who can match his playful spirit. Dogs? He’s not entirely convinced… but he tolerates them like a grumpy flatmate.
Carlton plays hard and fast — he can get rough with biting during play, so he’s best suited to a home without small children. He needs someone who understands spirited young cats and can redirect that energy with plenty of toys and enrichment.
Underneath the mischief, though, is a boy with the biggest personality and a soft side he reveals on his terms. When he’s finished tearing around the house like a furry hurricane, he’ll choose his moment, curl up close, and gift you one of his famous snuggles.
Carlton isn’t just a cat — he’s an experience. If you’re looking for laughter, energy, and a whole lot of character wrapped up in a handsome ginger package, this boy is ready to take over your home (and your heart). 🐾

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
