About Olive
š± Olive is a soft and stunning little tortoiseshell girl with the prettiest white āsocksā and bright, curious eyes that always seem to be taking in the world around her. Her coat is a beautiful blend of warm tones, and it perfectly matches her sweet and calming nature.
š Personality & Favourite Things
Olive is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people.
Her favourite things include:
š¾ Being gently patted (she starts purring almost instantly)
š¾ Chasing marbles across the floor
š¾ Curling up inside cozy cardboard boxes
š She adores spending time on laps, snoozing on soft beds, or perched on a sunny windowsill watching the outside world go by. Wherever thereās warmth and companionship, thatās where youāll find Olive.
š§ Olive is playful, confident, and wonderfully lap-seeking. She purrs happily when held and will sweetly meow when sheās ready for a meal.
She is truly amazing with children ā including little ones aged 2 and 6. She happily allows herself to be picked up, cuddled, moved around, and covered in kisses.
š” Olive truly loves people of all ages and would suit just about any loving home. Whether joining a busy family with children or a quieter household looking for a gentle companion, Olive will bring warmth, purrs, and endless sweetness wherever she goes.
If youāre looking for a trusting, affectionate, and social little kitten, Olive might just be your perfect match š

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
