About Kippy
🐾 Meet Your New Striped Shadow, Kippy - the Rhino-Cat Extraordinaire! 🐾
If you've ever wondered what would happen if a tabby cat and a rhino swapped notes on how to demand attention... wonder no more. This handsome male tabby is the living proof. Affectionate to his core, he doesn't just ask for pats - he boofs you with the enthusiasm of a tiny, domesticated rhino who's convinced that head‑bonks are a love language. (He's right.)
This smooch machine loves all forms of affection, from soft cuddles to rough‑and‑tumble scritches. If you're the kind of person who enjoys a cat that actively participates in the bonding experience rather than sitting three rooms away judging your life choices, he's your guy.
✨ Personality Highlights:
Super affectionate - will seek you out just to say hi
Big fan of enthusiastic, physical affection (boofing included)
Social, confident, and loves being part of the action
House trained and well‑mannered
Great with young kids or families looking for an interactive, loving companion
Also perfect for someone with plenty of time and love to give - he'll soak up every drop
He's looking for a home where he can be adored, appreciated, and allowed to share his signature rhino‑style head bumps freely. If you've got affection to spare, he's got a whole lot he's ready to give back.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
