Meet Astrid 🖤🤍
Astrid is the kind of cat who doesn’t just love you… she moves in. If you’re sitting down, expect her to claim her rightful throne — your chest — with absolutely no regard for personal space. Personal bubble? Never heard of it. Her favourite position is nose-to-nose, purring away like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her.
She’s wonderfully affectionate and is happy to be picked up and cuddled (at least for a few sweet minutes before she decides it’s time to supervise something else). She adores being brushed and will lean right into scratches, especially if you hit the perfect spot. Bonus: because she sheds quite a bit, regular brushing isn’t just loved — it’s essential!
Astrid has a playful side too. With a wand toy or a bit of encouragement, she’ll happily bat, pounce, and show off her skills. She’s gentle and rarely bites, making her a lovely companion for a calm household.
Food is one of Astrid’s great passions in life. She loves her wet food and would happily convince you she hasn’t been fed in days. Portion control will be important in her new home — she believes there’s no such thing as too much dinner.
When you come home or walk past her bowl, she’ll greet you with enthusiastic commentary. She’s vocal in all the right moments, but otherwise respectful and generally quiet.
Astrid would be happiest in a quieter home and should not be rehomed to families with young children as she does sometimes get overexcited while playing. She would best suit a couple or calm adults who want an affectionate companion and enjoy a close-bond cat.
At her core, Astrid is an absolute sweetheart — affectionate, loving, playful, and full of personality. She’s ready to find a home where she can snuggle close, be brushed regularly, and be adored just as much as she adores you.
If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a big heart (and a bigger appetite), Astrid might just be your girl. 🐾

Adoption details
Our adoption process is simple!
Once you have found the animal you wish to adopt, please fill out an adoption application via the following link https://airtable.com/shrSz0sNGsHs1n9Ul. This lets us know a little about yourself and why you wish to adopt your chosen animal.
Once this is received, you will be contacted by one of our team members if you are suitable to progress to a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well, and we feel you are well suited to the animal, an adoption may be processed!
In rare instances a phone interview or home visit may be conducted prior to adoption taking place.
We offer a 21 day settling in period, which means if, in the first three weeks, your chosen animal is not settling into the home, they can return to care with a refund of the adoption fee, minus a $50 administration fee.
We understand that sometimes finding that perfect addition can be difficult, and we try to make it as effortless and easy as possible. We hope we can be the purrfect ending to your story.
