About Rickie and Chippie
When one bundle of joy is not enough, meet two! Chippie and Rickie are pure delight. These two hounds have lived together for most of their lives, and while they have their own unique characters, they compliment each other beautifully. We’d love for them to find a home together if we can. They have been pets for the last few years and their racing days are well behind them❣️.
Chippie (brindle female - DOB 01/07/2022) is extremely friendly; confident and playful. She wants to say hello to everyone and loves pats and playtime. Rickie (black male - DOB 19/05/2021) is more reserved when you first meet him, sometimes timid. However once he comes out of his shell he is also very playful and affectionate 💕. They love a good zoom together, but are then happy to sleep for most of the day❣️.
Chippie and Rickie are very balanced dogs. They are extremely dog social. They’ve lived with kids and are great with dog-respectful children. They can be left alone together while you work during the day, although they do love their walks 🐾 and playtime when you get home, or before you leave. They’d love to have a back yard to enjoy.
Their new home must have 1.5m (5ft) to 1.8m (6ft) fences as Chippie can jump.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
