If you’re looking for a companion who will never let you feel lonely, meet Penny she is the definition of a people person she doesn’t just want to be in the same room as you she wants to be right where the action is.

Manners and training
🏡 Household pro: Penny is housetrained and a total pro at using the doggie door
🗣️ Reliable recall: she is excellent off lead in secure areas and has a great recall, Always happy to come back when called.

Work in progress : she is still learning her lead manners. She’s getting the hang of it, but will need a patient human to keep practicing her walks with her.

Penny isn’t overly keen on car rides, “or it could be just the way I drive” she just gets nervous
Sensitive soul: Penny can be a bit of a ‘nervous Nelly’ in new or stressful situation, which can occasionally lead to a toilet accident. She just needs a patient owner who understands that a little reassurance goes a long way.

Social Life
🐶 🐈 Multi -pet friendly: she currently lives peacefully with an older male dog and 6 cats. She is incredibly respectful of her feline friends, and usually just looks the other way.

The “Velcro” Dog: while she gets along with other pets Penny’s, true hearts, desire is a human who can give her plenty of one on one attention.

Penny is looking for a home where she can be the center of someone’s world because she experiences some separation anxiety she would be happiest with someone who is home more often than not , retired or working from home

A patient family who will enjoy continuing her lead training

A calm environment, where she can feel secure and loved.

Penny is currently very attached to her foster mum. She is a one person dog who gives 100% of her soul to her human. Because she bonds so deeply, Her new family will need to be patient during the first few days as she learns to trust them.

Penny has had heartworm, but has completed her treatment and is now heartworm free!
