About Bug - 7 Week Old Cattle Dog X Staffy
đž Meet Bug: The Worldâs Cutest Waddler!
If youâre looking for a dose of pure joy, look no further than Bug. At just 7 weeks old, this Cattle Dog x Staffy cross is still mastering the art of walkingâwhich means she spends most of her day in a very serious, very adorable puppy waddle.
đ The Tiny Stats:
Name: Bug
Age: 7 Weeks
Breed: Cattle Dog x Staffy
Top Skill: Looking like a little potato with legs.
Bug will be available and ready for her new home on 18/02/2026
⨠What Makes Bug So Special?
1. The "Waddle & Plop" Routine
Bug hasn't quite found her "zoomie" gears yet. Instead, she spends her awake time exploring the world at a slow, determined waddle. Once she reaches her destination (usually a toy or a lap), she celebrates with a dramatic "plop" and a well-deserved nap.
2. A Budding Toy Collector
Even with her tiny legs, Bug is a girl on a mission. She loves to find a toy, waddle it back to her bed, and settle in for a snuggle. Sheâs already showing her playful Cattle Dog intelligence, just in a very small, slow-motion package!
3. Seeking a Canine "Professor"
Bug is looking for a home with a friendly, resident dog. She needs a big brother or sister to show her how to "dog," teach her that the vacuum isn't scary, and eventually be her playmate once she outgrows her waddling phase.
4. Social & Snack-Motivated
Bug is cat-friendly and incredibly food-focused. She has never missed a meal (and her little round belly proves it!). This love for food will make her an absolute star in puppy preschool.
đ Bugâs Dream Home:
Bug needs a family who will appreciate the "baby" phaseâsomeone who doesn't mind the slow walks and the frequent naps. A home with a stable doggy mentor is a must for her to reach her full potential.
Puppy Note: She may be small, but she has a big heart. Sheâs a blank slate ready to be filled with love, treats, and plenty of "good girl" head scratches. âWhile sheâs already adorable, Bug would truly shine with some formal training. Sheâs at that prime age where structured training and socialization will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.
Ready to fall in love with this lovebug?
Bug needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Bugâs adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
She is in foster care in Kulnura, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
