About Mira
Hey… I’m Mira.
While the others are busy training to save the world, I am over here perfecting the ancient art of the nap. Even demon hunters need to rest, right?
I’m a calm, sleepy girl who would much rather have a lay down than race laps around the house. I will join in a little wrestle with my brother and sister. I am not completely retired from action. But after a few gentle tumbles I usually decide that inner peace is more my style. Someone has to bring balance to the team.
There is an older foster cat here named Galileo. I respect him greatly. From a distance. I give him space and quietly go about my own business. No drama. Just soft footsteps and gentle vibes.
The neighbour’s dogs run past the front door like they are in the middle of an intense chase scene. I simply watch. Calm. Unbothered. Observing the chaos like, “Stay sharp. Stay soft.” That is more my speed.
I would be perfectly happy as an only pet, especially if you are affectionate. I love snuggling. Truly. If there is a lap available, I will consider it my stage. If there is a blanket, I will claim it. If there is a sibling to curl up beside, even better. I am a champion cuddler.
New people are wonderful. I warm up quickly and once I do, the purring begins. Loud. Steady. Unapologetic. I may be quiet, but my purr speaks volumes. I am also what my foster mum calls an expert fiddler. I gently play with her fingers or her sleeve when I am relaxed, like I am saying, “I’m not scared anymore. I’m home.”
I do wrestle sometimes. I even carry toys around in my mouth on occasion, which makes me look very important. But more often than not, I am drifting off somewhere cosy. Heroes need their beauty sleep.
My litter training is perfect. No behavioural concerns. No anxiety. Just a soft grey girl with little threads of white through my coat, looking slightly ethereal at all times.
So if you are searching for a gentle soul who will bring calm to your world, curl up beside you and purr like a soundtrack in the background, I think I am ready for my next chapter. The quiet kind. The forever kind.
