Rusty

Rusty is a sweet, smart, loyal, handsome, smiley guy. He is an absolute cracker and will make the right human a great friend and sidekick.

He would do well in a home with a yard, with a person who has working dog experience and will give him plenty of attention and an interesting life.

Rusty has lived with a cat before, and could go to a home with cats if they were introduced well and they were brave/offensive cats that will take the lead in the relationship.

He sleeps quietly through the night, is toilet trained and enjoys learning new tricks. Rusty likes a walk, is fabulous on lead, loves bones, food based toys and to be near his person. He would be a great running mate.

Rusty hasn’t learned that cars go to fun places yet, so that is a work in progress, but I am confident that he will learn that quickly and will be keen to leap in, in no time.

Rusty is super intelligent and learns what works for him extra quickly, which makes training him lots of fun. He needs a human who is switched on, understands the use of positive reinforcement and the importance of a strong bond with your dog.

Rusty would do well in a home with a female dog friend of a similar size or as a solo dog who gets all the attention. He’s currently living in a home with another dog, who he enjoys playing with.

Rusty enjoys helping the human by following them around, deterring monsters and patrolling the perimeter! Looking tough, but probably not actually being tough.

He is a lovely little guy who has an infectious grin and an enthusiasm for life that is contagious. He will make the human who suits his needs very happy.
