About Kell
Kell the Heart-Stealer - Wanted for Cuteness & Cuddles
Age: 11 months
Breed: Australian Kelpie
Colours: Black & Tan (perfect for undercover work)
Status: At large and on the lookout for a loving home
WANTED NOTICE
Authorities across the outback have issued an alert for Kell, the notorious young bushranger known for stealing- not gold, not horses, not stagecoaches...
...but HEARTS.
With her sleek black-and-tan coat and sharp Kelpie wit, Kell is said to melt even the toughest bushmen and bushwomen with a single sideways grin. Witnesses describe her as "energetic, clever, and dangerously charming".
Known Skills & Bushranger Talents
Lightning-fast reflexes - perfect for outrunning boredom and chasing adventure.
Sharp mind - rumoured to outsmart fences, boredom, and occasionally her humans (in the most lovable way).
Loyal sidekick energy - she sticks to them like burrs in a swagman's socks to both her people and other canine friends.
Work ethic - born from good Aussie Kelpie stock; loves to learn, move, and have hearts to steal.
Personality Profile
Kell may look like a renegade, but underneath her outlaw reputation lies a gentle, affectionate girl who's still just a pup.
She's brave, curious, and full of life. Give her guidance, fun activities, and a bit of training, and she'll be the best deputy you could ask for.
Expect tail wags, goofy antics, and the kind of devotion you'd usually find only in ballads sung around campfires.
Ready and available for adoption NOW - Seeking a new crew of adults, kids and even other dogs in with which to wreak havoc and mayhem like a good bushranger should.
To book a meet and greet with Kell please contact the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
