Patty Cake

Hi, I’m Patty Cake.

Yes, like the rhyme. And yes, I am just as cute as it sounds.

I’m a tabby and white girl, slim and soft, with big ideas about life. I play fabulously with my brother and the older foster cat here. We chase, wrestle, zoom and repeat. If there is space to run, I will find it. If there is something to climb, I will already be on top of it.

When it is play time or food time, I only have one speed. Fast. Truly fast. If there was an Olympic event for kitten parkour, I would take home the gold medal without breaking a sweat. I love to jump over things, around things, up onto things and occasionally launch myself from things. It is all very impressive.

I would be fine as an only pet, especially if you have time for pats and games. I do love attention. But I would also thrive with a kitten playmate because I have energy to burn and I think life is more fun with a wrestling partner.

Dogs are fine as long as they are calm and give me a minute to work them out. Once I know they are sensible, I am confident around them. Children are good too. I will stay still for a quick cuddle, then I am off again to show them how fast I can run. As long as little hands are gentle, we will get along beautifully.

New people do not bother me. If someone wants to talk to me or give me a cuddle, I am happy to say hello. I am friendly and playful and quite sure that most people will like me. I tend to be right about that.

Litter training has never been an issue. I am a very tidy girl. No behavioural concerns either. I am adventurous, not anxious.

After all the running and leaping and showing off, I do love to be near my human. Once play is finished, I will hop up on the lounge and settle in close. I might be speedy and bold, but I am also very affectionate when the day winds down.

So if you are looking for a pretty, playful, slightly athletic little lady who will keep you entertained and then curl up beside you at night, I think we would make a very good team. 💛
