💌 Love at First Sight — A Letter from South 💌
My Dearest Future Love,
It happened in an instant. One look. One heartbeat. One tail wag. I saw you… and I just knew. Was it your smile? Your kind eyes? Or the fact you looked like someone who gives excellent belly rubs? Whatever it was, my heart did a zoomie.
Allow me to introduce myself properly. My name is South explorer of backyards, master of simple commands, and future love of your life. I’m currently studying the mysterious art of the doggy door (I call it “The Portal of Freedom”) and I’m proud to report I’m getting the hang of it. I’m also crate trained, which basically means I have my own bedroom like the royalty I clearly am.
I’m a confident, easy-going kind of pup. The type who wakes up happy, stays happy, and spreads happy like peanut butter on toast. I love running around the yard, stretching my legs, and pretending I’m in the Puppy Olympics. Water, however, is not my soulmate. We’ve met. We’re polite. But we’re not close.
I get along well with other dogs I’m basically the friendly neighbour who brings cookies over. Cats? Well… we haven’t been formally introduced yet, so I can’t say if we’ll be best friends or just respectful acquaintances.
But enough about me… let’s talk about us.
I imagine long walks together, couch cuddles, and me looking lovingly into your eyes while you eat snacks (strictly for emotional support purposes, of course). I promise loyalty, laughter, and a lifetime supply of tail wags.
One tiny love note from my matchmakers at Scruffer Lovers: because I’m still young and dashing, I’ll be heading off for my little “no-puppies-for-me” glow-up at 6 months old under a desexing contract. They’ll organise it at one of their vets I just show up, be brave, and accept the extra cuddles afterwards. 💌
So if you felt that spark too… that little “oh my goodness is this my dog?” feeling… then I think it’s safe to say this might just be love at first sight.
Forever yours (already),
South 🐾💕
