Meet Ruby, the delightful greyhound who is charming and gentle. She's the perfect companion for anyone looking for a devoted friend. Whether you live in an apartment or a house, Ruby is content, usually preferring to be indoors with her “pack”, but also happy to be pottering about outside, making her adaptable to various living situations.

Ruby is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of humans and dogs alike. She gets along well with others, both two-legged and four-legged, but she does have a tendency to be a little excitable around children. While she's perfectly okay with kids like her five-year-old human friend, initially her enthusiasm might be a bit much for those not accustomed to larger breeds. With her beautiful temperament, Ruby doesn't show any signs of resource guarding or sleep startle, and her boundless love extends to everyone she meets.

In terms of her leash manners, Ruby is still learning, but she’s making great progress. She shows a little juvenile jumpiness when she encounters something unexpected but quickly recovers her composure. Additionally, Ruby is a champ at holding her toileting needs, proving her house-training skills with a reliable overnight routine.

Though she may initially feel unsettled being left alone, Ruby is making strides in adapting to alone time, especially when she has the comfort of her crate nearby. She has demonstrated an incredible ability to stay calm and secure when crated.

Ruby is an all-around lovely girl, wonderful with other dogs, and short interactions at a café have shown promise for her compatibility. Her curious and inquisitive nature means she might experiment with picking up household objects, so keeping things like glasses and remotes out of reach is advisable initially.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or new to the adventure of having a furry friend, Ruby’s connected and manageable disposition makes her an easy companion.
