Velvet

Velvet is a beautiful 3-year-old Coonhound with the soul of a softie and the presence of a true gentle giant. With her long legs, soulful eyes, and calm nature, she has a quiet way of making everyone around her feel at ease.

Velvet enjoys stretching her legs and taking in the world around her, especially when she can follow an interesting scent (a true hound at heart!). Once she's had her daily wander and a chance to explore, she's more than happy to settle in for what she loves most - a cozy snuggle with her favourite person. She forms lovely, loyal bonds and will happily lean in for affection after a day well spent.

Having previously lived on a farm, Velvet would be perfectly suited to rural life again, where she can enjoy open space, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings. She may also enjoy the company of another calm, well-matched dog, though she would be just as content soaking up all the love as your one and only.

Velvet has a sweet and steady temperament and could live with a family, but she would thrive best in a calmer home environment. She isn't particularly fond of loud noises or lots of hustle and bustle, so a peaceful household where she can truly relax would be ideal.
