About Nelle
Nelle is a little miracle with a big heart. Born with a condition called Pectus Excavatum, he spent his kittenhood in a series of tiny body casts that helped his chest grow the right way. Thanks to his brave spirit and some wonderful vet care, he’s now completely healthy and ready to enjoy life to the fullest!
Nelle is a cat’s cat through and through — the ultimate buddy for another friendly feline. He adores playtime, especially chasing ribbons, wiggly wands, and his all-time favourite: catching that sneaky little red laser dot! When it’s dinner time, you’ll see him at his happiest, and he never says no to a creamy treat or a cuddle.
At night, he’ll curl up beside you, purring softly as he drifts off to sleep, and during the day he’ll keep your cat company with endless games and quiet companionship.
This sweet boy proves that even when life starts with challenges, love and determination can lead to pure happiness. Nelle is looking for a home full of love, laughter, and maybe a few toys he can chase to his heart’s content. 🐾

We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
