Lucy Van Pelt

Hi, I'm Lucy - yes, that Lucy - though after my recent adventure, I've decided being dramatic is overrated. I arrived with a broken leg (even braver than facing the football, if you ask me), but thanks to the devoted TLC of my foster carer and the incredible vet team, I've made a full recovery. These days I prefer peaceful pursuits: lounging like Snoopy on top of his doghouse (or preferably your lap), accepting cuddles, and quietly planning my next nap. I can be a little unsure at first, but once I feel safe, I'm wonderfully affectionate and devoted.

Like Snoopy when the Red Baron flies overhead, sudden loud noises can make me jump, so I'm searching for a calm, quiet home where I can keep building my confidence. I'd love a gentle cat companion to share my "Beagle Scout" meetings (mostly naps in sunbeams), but dogs and young children would be too much bustle for me. With a patient owner to continue my socialisation, I'll blossom into the most loyal little sidekick - no doghouse required.
