About Chester
Chester is a 15.2hh Standardbred mare with the most beautiful, easy-going nature you could ask for. This lovely girl has a kind eye, a gentle soul, and a temperament that makes her an absolute pleasure to have around.
She is easy to handle in every way - calm to catch, lead, groom and generally fuss over. Chester enjoys attention and has a truly sweet personality, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quiet, reliable mare to cherish.
At 22, Chester is looking for a home where she can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, plenty of love, and the comfort she deserves.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
