About Rafi
Hi, I'm Peace Lily,
Elegant, delicate, impossible to ignore in a room. I may be small, but I fully intend to bloom wherever I'm planted.
I'm three months old, which is the perfect age if you ask me. Old enough to be brave, young enough to be endlessly curious. I came into care with my mum and my siblings, all of us bundled together like a little potted family. Since then, I've been growing up in foster care, stretching my leaves - I mean, legs - and learning how to be the very best version of myself.
Like my namesake, I have a gentle side. I love a warm windowsill where I can soak up the sunshine and quietly observe the world, serene and beautiful. But don't be fooled by the peaceful part of my name, I am still a kitten after all. That means I will chase anything that moves, including shadows, toy mice, and occasionally my own tail. I will pounce with dramatic flair, scale furniture like it's a jungle canopy, and zoom through the house in sudden bursts of very important energy. Consider it my way of flourishing.
I adore attention and will happily twine around your legs like a trailing vine. When I'm feeling affectionate, I'll curl up close and purr so sweetly you'll swear you can feel it in your chest. Like a true Peace Lily, I thrive in a loving environment with just the right balance of playtime and calm. Water me with kindness, sunlight, and the occasional treat, and watch me blossom.
Growing up with my mum and siblings has made me social and confident. I know how to play, how to share, and how to hold my own when wrestling gets a little wild. Foster care has helped me get used to home life, the sounds, the rhythms, the comforts so I'm ready to transplant myself into a forever family.
I may start small, a little bud of a kitten, but give me time and love and I'll flourish into something truly beautiful. All I need now is the perfect place to put down roots.
Will you be the home where Peace Lily blooms?
