We are delighted to introduce Pepito, a charming domestic short hair kitten. He was born on October 28, 2025, and possesses a wonderfully cheeky yet gentle nature. When he's not curled up for a cozy nap, he explores his surroundings with curiosity and excitement.
Pepito absolutely adores playtime and approaches life with an enthusiastic and playful spirit. He also has a remarkable ability to get along well with other feline companions. So would be ideal for a home looking to expand their fur babies friends.
We believe Pepito would bring immense joy and a touch of playful mischief to any loving home. If you offer Pepita a space filled with love, companionship, and interactive play, you'll be rewarded with a heart warming and gentle companion who will fill your home with joy for years to come.
Located Cranbourne
As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash bank transfer or Pay ID.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
