Imagine spending most of your life alone on the streets... then suddenly finding yourself in a shelter ... scared, unwell, and with no one you know. That was the beginning of Marcy's story.

Now, we need you to help finish it.

Marcy is shy, gentle, and quietly warm once she feels safe. She isn't the kind of cat who will rush up to strangers or demand attention straight away, but with time, patience, and love, she has so much to give. We know the cat she can be, and she just needs someone willing to help her get there.

Marcy will take work. She isn't the cat for the faint-hearted. But if you're strong, patient, and willing to invest a small fraction of your life to make her whole life infinitely better, then Marcy might just be your girl.

Sometimes the most rewarding love is the one you have to earn.
