Kellie

**FOSTER CARER NEEDED**
Kellie is a sensitive Kelpie who finds the outside world a little overwhelming at times. Loud noises, busy environments, and new experiences can be worrying for her, so she is looking for a quiet foster home with patient humans who can continue building her confidence through positive training and enrichment.

She has been working closely with our behaviour trainer and veterinary team and is currently on behavioural medication to support her progress. Kellie has already come a long way and is ready for a foster carer who can help keep her moving in the right direction.

Beneath those worries is everything people love about Kelpies: intelligence, energy, drive, and a love of learning. She needs active, physically capable adults who understand the breed and can provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment from the safety of a large, secure backyard while she continues gaining confidence.

Kellie would be best suited as the only dog in the home at this stage, though she may be able to live with another dog in the future. She is not suitable for homes with cats or pocket pets.

For someone who enjoys working with clever dogs, Kellie is an incredibly rewarding companion with so much potential still to unlock. 🐾
