Hi!

My name is Barney and I'm so excited to have found you! My foster mum has been telling me that you would come and take me home forever and show me all kinds of new things in the world.

I've been with my brother Fred since we were born. I also had two big foster brothers who have been teaching me cat manners and how to climb! Exploring everywhere is just the best thing ever, especially all the high places, even though sometimes I get stuck and need help getting down! I also love going outside on the enclosed balcony and eating the cat grass!

I love running around and playing chasey with all my brothers, especially in our cat tunnel, that is the best. My favourite is chasing the plastic springs and wrestling with the mouse toys. I'm learning to climb and explore, and this week my foster mum had these awesome new toys she called 'cardboard boxes'!! They were so much fun and I love chewing them, it feels good on my growing teeth.

When I was really little, my world was pretty scary. I didn't learn very many positive things about humans at first. But my foster mum has been teaching me that mostly humans are pretty alright and not scary! She talks to me alllllll the time and gives me lots of gentle pats, so I know what's happening in my world. It really helps me feel safe! I also met this other amazing human, her name is Jess. I love Jess, she helped me so much by massaging my body and telling me that my foster mum was good people. My foster mum loved to give me these things she calls 'snuggles'. But I much prefer human attention with all four paws on the ground thank you very much! I will tell you this by squirming and squeaking when you pick me up! I may not be one for 'snuggles' but I will show you I love you by following you around everywhere and sleeping on your feet. I also make biscuits and try to suckle on my foster brothers when I'm hungry or tired, which they seem to think is a bit weird but it feels good to me! I love when my brothers groom me, it's so relaxing. My foster mum has been trying to groom me with this brush thing, she says I will need to learn this because my coat is long. I'm not so sure about it yet, but maybe you can help me decide by using this brush thing too?

At my foster house, I ate wet and dry food, but between you and me I prefer the wet food! I have to eat Royal Canin Kitten dry food and Fancy Feast Kitten wet food, but my foster brothers get fed this amazing food called Raw Meow Mix. My foster mum mixes this with real meat!!!! Omg, Furever Family, it is the best stuff ever!!! Please please will you look into getting this food for me???
