Buster is a gorgeous 8‑month‑old Staffy x Shar Pei who is still gently coming out of his shell, and every day his personality blossoms a little more. He absolutely adores human connection, whether he’s curling up in your lap, leaning against your leg, or following you from room to room just to stay close. He’s happy spending time in the yard too, but his favourite place in the entire world will always be as near to you as possible.

Buster is playful and silly, and his zoomies could easily qualify as an Olympic sport. He’s a huge fan of toys—chews, balls, anything fun—and is in heaven the moment you hand him one. He loves everyone he meets, including cats, dogs, kids, and adults. His confidence is still developing, especially on walks, but with gentle encouragement he’s improving every day. He’s also very clever, already knowing how to shake and give high fives, and he responds beautifully to ongoing training. Although he may let out a bark or two, he’s a complete softie at heart—more cuddly companion than guard dog. And through it all, he’s an affection machine, always smiling and always ready to offer kisses.

Buster is looking for a family who wants a loyal companion—someone who will adore having him close, enjoy his playful nature, and continue supporting him as he grows into the confident, relaxed dog he’s becoming.

He is in care in Newcastle area, NSW. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
