About Pearl
Meet Pearl
Pearl is a true Pilbara white with a gentle spirit and a heart that leans right into you. She is currently in foster care with a loving family who are helping her regain her strength, and every day she is looking brighter, healthier, and more confident.
When Pearl first arrived, her little belly told the story of a tough start. With good food, care, and plenty of rest, that distended tummy has almost disappeared. She is looking a bit lean at the moment, but she is steadily and safely gaining weight as her foster family spoils her with nutritious meals and lots of love.
Food is definitely the way to Pearl’s heart. She has already mastered a very enthusiastic sit, especially when she thinks a snack might be coming her way. It is hard not to smile when she plants herself politely and waits, eyes full of hope.
At night, Pearl transforms into a total cuddle companion. She loves to snuggle right up close and drift off to sleep beside her people, soaking up all the comfort of home life. During the day, she is learning to entertain herself and is quite clever at self soothing with a favourite toy. She also knows how to use her voice when she has something to say, making sure her presence is always known.
Pearl still has a few scabs finishing their healing journey, but she is well on the mend and blossoming more each day. She has suspected E. canis and is currently receiving treatment, with her foster family and vet team supporting her every step of the way.
Pearl is in foster care and can be met easily by sending in an adoption application. We can then arrange a meet and greet so you can see just how lovely she is. We do not have a shelter you can visit, but our foster homes mean we know our animals well and can help match them to the right homes.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
