About Hector
Hector is a special man - handsome, awesome white whiskers, affectionate and in very good health. His coat type is what you'd call a black smoke colour due to his fur being white underneath the black. Very unusual! Whilst Hector is affectionate and loves your attention, he is one of those cats that can occasionally become over-stimulated from too much patting and he then isn't able to regulate his emotions. His play can then become a little rough. See below for tips to help Hector settle into your home:-
## DIET/CARE-High quality food (dry and wet food) and fresh, cool water is a good diet. Regular vet visits will keep him in top condition.
## INSIDE LIFESTYLE-We would prefer for Hector to have an INSIDE LIFESTYLE. This would keep him safe as well preventing injury to the outside wildlife. Large cat towers are a great resource for cats, providing a place to keep their claws in good condition, and also a snuggly place to sleep. Cardboard boxes, wand toys and gentle cuddles will help with entertainment inside the home. As he is a little shy, a launch room or quiet nook will help him settle in.
## FRIENDS-As Hector came to our Shelter as a lost cat, all his background details are not available. With Hector's "over-stimulated" nature, this can sometimes be difficult for children and pets living in the home.
