About Shiloh
Meet Lil Ted!
Lil Ted is a dog who experiences the world nose-first. Every walk is an adventure, every breeze carries a story, and every new space is something to be carefully investigated.
Behind that curious nose is a super smart girl who has been working closely with our behaviour team and is doing wonderfully. Lil Ted is still learning how to be a dog, but she's trying hard and making great progress every day. Treat focused and a willingness to learn, we know that she'll will become the best version of herself with a family who can help train her and build her confidence.
Lil Ted isn't the type to rush into hugs and cuddles, and she can feel unsure with too much physical affection too soon. But if you respect her space and go at her pace, something very special happens. When she feels safe, she'll choose to come sit on you herself, and reward your patience with lots of sweet kisses- her way of saying thank you for listening to her and making her feel secure.
This young girl is full of energy and is still learning how to play politely with us humans. She just loves people so much that she can't resist jumping up to give the sweetest, slobbery face kisses! Because of her boisterous nature, she'll do best in a home with secondary school-aged kids or older while she continues to learn her manners. When it comes to other dogs, Lil Ted is quite nervous and doesn't feel comfortable sharing her space. She'll need to be the only dog in the home for now and avoid dog parks or busy off-leash areas.
Lil Ted is currently managed on medication for both Separation Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety, and she will need be on medication long-term. But no need to fret, her new family won't be on their own- our team will provide full guidance to ensure she continues to thrive.
Once Lil Ted builds up a little more confidence, she can't wait to explore the world by your side. Come meet her and start your adventure together- adopt her today!
