Meet Betty!

Say hello to Betty, a joyful young American Bulldog with a heart as big as her smile. This bouncy girl is full of affection, absolutely loves people, and is always ready to be right by your side, whether that's for playtime, training, or a good cuddle session.

Betty is high energy and still very much a puppy, so she's looking for an active home that enjoys walks, games, and helping a young dog learn the ropes. She will thrive with force free, reward based training, using visual cues, consistency, and positive reinforcement to help her learn her puppy basics. With the right guidance, she's going to be a superstar!

Betty is possibly a little bit deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. She does react to auditory stimuli, but at this time we can't say for certain whether she hears fully or may be partially or fully deaf. What we can say is that she's doing great, she's attentive, observant, and already excellent at watching her people for cues. Dogs like Betty often thrive with clear communication, consistency, and lots of love (which she is more than ready to give back!).

She may be suited to a home with Secondary school aged children, who can join in with training and understand calm, respectful interactions. Betty may also be able to live with another dog, provided she has gradual, positive introductions to set everyone up for success.
