If you’re looking for a kitten who lives life at full throttle, meet Luigi! Unlike his famous namesake, this little guy is anything but timid. He is a confident, high-energy bundle of fun who treats the entire world like his personal playground.
🌟 Personality: The Energizer Bunny
Luigi is a classic independent explorer who is always on the move. 🐾
Zero to Sixty: When he’s awake, he is a blur of motion, tearing around the room, racing along the back of the couch, and leaping onto furniture with total confidence. 🏎️💨
The "Flop" Expert: He plays hard until his battery hits 0%, at which point he will simply flop down and fall asleep exactly where he stands. 💤
Social Butterfly: Luigi isn't phased by much! He’s an inquisitive boy who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and making new feline friends.

Luigi is a resilient kitten who would fit into almost any active household.
The People: Because he is so social and playful, he would be a fantastic match for a family with kids. He wants teammates for his adventures! 👨👩👧👦
The Crew: He gets along great with other cats (especially his brother, Mario!) but is confident enough to be a solo star if he has plenty of toys and humans to keep him busy. 🐈🤝
The Vibe: He doesn’t need a quiet home. While loud, sudden noises might startle him for a split second, he bounces back almost immediately. He’s a brave little soul!

Affection: Much like his brother, he’s currently "too busy" for long cuddle sessions. He’d much rather play, but he’ll appreciate a quick scratch as he zooms past you!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
