Say hello to the biggest baby on this side of the city- Big Ted.

Big Ted is exactly what his name describes. A muscular 32kg and as gentle as sweet as a teddy bear, Big Ted genuinely thinks he's a lap dog and is a master of his puppy dog eyes.

A lover through and through, Big Ted loves nothing more than hanging out with his favourite people until the cows come home... and then some. He's been diagnosed with Separation Anxiety, and long hours alone make him anxious. He's best suited to a family or individual who works from home or has a flexible schedule. He'd also be more than happy to have another dog friend as company, so please bring any dogs at home to the meet and greet!

Big Ted has plenty of ideas for how to make your time together extra fun. His favorite game? Fetch with a squeaky toy! He'll happily chase it, then trot right back and gently place it in your lap. Not to say he's finished, but to keep the fun going. When he's not proudly parading his prize around like it's the world's greatest treasure, he's super chill and content just being by your side, ready to relax with you after playtime.

Soft and always leaning in for pats, Big Ted sometimes forgets his size and thinks he's a lap dog- and while he adores people, he'll be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged kids or older. He's also still learning the difference between stuffed toys and small animals, so his new home will need to be cat and pocket pet free (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc).

Big Ted will require ongoing medication for Both Speration Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety, so his new family will need to be comfortable continuing this care long-term. Don't worry, our team will provide all the guidance and information needed to keep them happy, healthy, and thriving.
