About Polly
Meet Polly, a shy girl looking for her forever home. Polly is looking for a calm home where she can learn to be the confident, content cat she should be. She would love a home that can offer gentle, consistent interaction and has some experience dealing with shy or timid cats. Building a safe space for Polly will be essential for the first few weeks in her forever home.
With time and patience Polly would love to curl up near her humans, feeling safe and warm. Once she is comfortable she LOVES playing with toys, especially toy mice and balls. Once you capture her heart and affection, she loves getting pets from the people she trusts.
Polly is looking for a home where she can express herself as the only pet in the house and would be best suited to older teens/ adults who can give her the space she needs to settle. With the right expectations, patience, time and family Polly will blossom in the home and really bond with her adopters.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
