Meet JalapeƱo: The Sweetest Grumpy Face! š¶ļøš¤Ø
Don't let the "perpetual grumpy face" fool you, JalapeƱo is actually a total softie! He might look like heās judging your life choices, but heās really just waiting for his next ear scratch.
š Personality: The Gentle Soul
JalapeƱo is a quiet observer who likes to take his time getting to know you. Heās not the type to go crashing through the house; he prefers to watch from the sidelines until he feels safe.
Shy but Sweet: He starts off a little reserved, but once he opens up, his purr motor is surprisingly loud! š¶
The "Sibling Sofa": His absolute favourite thing to do is sit on his siblings. If thereās a pile of kittens, JalapeƱo is definitely at the top of it. šš¤
Handle with Care: Heās a sensitive guy who prefers all four paws on the ground. Sudden pickups can be a bit spooky for him, so he likes to be approached with a gentle hand.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
