About Angel
Meet Angel – a petite sweetheart ready for a brighter future 💕
Angel is a gentle, petite female who was found as a stray in a country pound, arriving without a microchip, very underweight, and wearing a collar that was far too tight, attached to a short broken chain. Despite what she has clearly endured, Angel’s spirit remains kind, trusting and full of love.
Since being in foster care, Angel has truly begun to blossom. She is now enjoying two healthy meals a day and is thriving in a large, open area where she can safely run, explore and build her confidence. It’s been beautiful to watch her transform as she learns what it means to feel safe and cared for.
Angel absolutely adores people and seeks out human affection at every opportunity. She is friendly with other dogs of a similar size and enjoys calm, respectful companionship. When faced with larger or over-bearing dogs, Angel can feel a little intimidated and will often lay down and roll onto her back in submission, so she would be best suited to a home with gentle dogs or as the only cherished companion.
Sweet, affectionate and eager to please, Angel is now thriving and ready for a home where she can feel safe, secure and truly valued. In return, she will offer unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship and a heart full of love.
If you’re looking for a petite, people-loving girl with a soft soul and a resilient heart, Angel may be the perfect match for you. 🐾💖
We always recommend to continue training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.
Angel is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria, If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Willow Tree.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
