Touka is the perfect mix of "quiet observer" and "bouncing off the walls." She’s a soft cutie pie whose personality is currently in full bloom! 🌸
Shy to Spunky: She might start off a little reserved, but once she’s comfortable, she is a playful, cheerful, and delightfully cheeky kitten.
The Play-Fight Pro: While she enjoys a quick cuddle, she’d much rather be wrestling or chasing a toy.
Independent Spirit: She loves to explore and doesn't need to be glued to your side 24/7—though she’ll definitely keep you entertained from afar!
🏠 Her Ideal Kingdom
Touka is looking for an active household that understands the "slow burn" of a shy kitten turning into a superstar.
The Crew: She thrives in a multi-person or multi-cat home. She loves other cats, but she needs a friend who is friendly and playful, not a "moody" or territorial boss who will pick on her.
The Vibe: She’s much braver than her brother Noel, but the vacuum is still her arch-nemesis! 🚫🧹 She’d do best with a family that has older kids/teens who can respect her boundaries while she’s learning the ropes.
Better Together: Touka and her brother Noel are the ultimate "Dream Team." Adopting them together is highly encouraged so they can keep building each other's confidence!
Favorite Toy: A clear plastic bowl. Yes, really! She’ll spend ages entertaining herself with the simplest things. 🥣🤡

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
