Mia (On Hold)

Deposit taken, pending adoption 20/8. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au especially jack and scottie. . . Mia is a beautiful, petite, 12 month old shih tzu x. She is friendly with children, cat and dogs and loves to play and get lots of cuddles. She loves to go outside and explore the garden with our other dogs and gets along with cats and loves children. She will let our children carry her around from room to room and jump in bed with them for snuggles. Mia loves to walk and especially loves to sleep as exploring makes her very tired!

mia is very pretty with her black coat and little white chin and splash of white on her chest. Shih tzus are non-shedding dogs so mia will need regular grooming, such as getting bathed and having her hair brushed daily and clipped on a regular basis. She has a slight bit of food aggression: if my dog tries to eat out of her bowl, she will slightly growl and bark a little, but nothing too serious. Problem is easily fixed by feeding them in separate rooms or simply telling her no. She is almost house trained when taken outside on a regular basis, but she has had a few accidents inside. . . . Mia is a loving, sweet and gentle natured girl who needs to go to a home where there is another dog for her to play with or someone who is home most of the time as she does have a habit of barking if left alone. She will need to be an indoor dog, but still loves to go outside, and at night her favourite spot to sleep is in our bed with us! she loves knowing there is someone there with her all the time. She has a habit of following me around from room to room, which is very cute and she loves to be picked up, carried around and cuddled! ?

mia is an absolute pleasure to have in our home, she has settled right in and i know in the right forever home for her, she will be just the same, and will continue to thrive as long as she is loved and cared for! she is such a beautiful, lovely little girl who deserves to be spoilt rotten!. . .
