About Missy
Meet Missy, the spirited Jack Russell Terrier mix who is sure to capture your heart with her boundless zest for life! Born on August 8th, 2025, this active and outgoing little lady weighs in at 7.2 kg of pure charm. Missy is the kind of dog who radiates joy and enthusiasm, always ready to embark on her next adventure. We do not know if Missy would chase a cat.
Being naturally confident, Missy adores spending time in the great outdoors. She lives for exploring new environments. For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, Missy will make an excellent companion, turning every walk or hike into a delightful adventure. She's a big fan of outdoor play and would delight in having another quiet canine friend as a resident role model to learn the ropes from.
While she possesses a delightful spirit and inquisitive nature, Missy is in need of some training to match her exuberant personality. Lead training will be key as she learns to channel her confidence and manage her occasional bout of mischief. But with the right guidance and consistent training, Missy is sure to flourish into a well-behaved member of the family.
Missy is perfect for families seeking a loving, fun-loving pet that thrives on activity and company. With her spirit and exuberance, combined with some patient guidance, Missy is destined to become a beloved family member who fills her new household with laughter and love.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
