===========================================================
Meet Odin, a gentle, grateful soul who truly appreciates the simple things: good food, a warm bed, and being close to his human.
He arrived into care in poor condition, and what stands out most now is his deep sense of trust and appreciation. Odin isn’t demanding or clingy, but he always wants to be nearby. He’s happy to sit beside you, lean in for pats, or quietly wait his turn for affection. He would suit someone who enjoys calm companionship and shared space.
Despite his chilled nature, Odin still has a strong playful streak. As soon as a laser pointer or wand toy appears, he switches straight into hunter mode. Focused, enthusiastic, and determined, he gives playtime everything he’s got and always plays to win. Short daily play sessions keep him very content.
Odin is FIV positive and must live indoors. While in care, he has shown no signs of illness, and his FIV appears dormant. Many FIV cats live long, healthy lives, and all current indicators for Odin are positive. He is very settled as an indoor cat and shows no desire to roam, aside from watching birdies from a safe distance (and yes, he absolutely has hunting skills).
He would be well suited to a quiet, mature home, including an apartment, where outdoor access isn’t possible but companionship is valued. Odin is affectionate, calm, playful when invited, and deeply bonded to his people.

🏡 What Odin would love in an owner
A calm, mature household
Someone who enjoys daily belly scratches and quiet closeness
Sunny perches for naps
A small collection of wand toys and laser toys for short, energetic play sessions
Brushing a couple of times a week – he finds it blissful and it helps with hairballs (he is a fluff butt)
Butt and back pats (these are a must)
A responsible adult to manage catnip in moderation (left to his own devices, he’d happily make it an all-day affair)
Odin has excellent litter habits and is very tidy. He is content, affectionate, and easy to live with.
If you’re looking for a truly loving companion and worry that apartment living might limit what you can offer a cat, Odin may be exactly who you’re looking for.
